Fulcrum To Invest $50 Million In Indian Centres

Fulcrum Logic, a global software solutions provider based out of US, is planning to expand its Indian operations. The company plans to invest about $50 million over a five-year span, with about $10 million in the first phase and about $40 milion in the second phase. With a current sales revenue of $25 million, the company expects to reach a turnover of close to $150 million within five years.
The company is set to increase its headcount in its Mumbai and Pune facilities from 400 to 1200 in the first phase and reaching 4500 in five years. The Government of India has allotted a land to Fulcrum to establish a global knowledge campus in the new upcoming Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, SEZ complex at Hinjewadi, Phase III, Pune. The eco-friendly campus will be built with a capacity to accommodate around 1,500 employees.
Commenting on the move, Rajesh Sinha, president and chief executive officer, Fulcrum Logic, said, "Being an end-to-end solutions provider, customers in US and Europe are realizing the unique combination we provide in terms of IT, business and management consulting, coupled with global delivery framework, and this has helped us emerge as an alternative to the big six consulting firms in the mid-sized market."
Fulcrum Logic will be creating customers-dedicated development unit in their upcoming campus of Hinjewadi. Leading office automation company from New Jersey has awarded a three-year contract for $9 million. Fulcurm's websphere portal practice has booked order value of $12 million from California-based customers to be delivered in the next three years.
